Ecological Issues facing the world:
-
Loss of indigenous species due to spread of plants and animal by man;
-
Loss of ecosystems due to replacement with production fields;
-
Loss of marine diversity through over fishing, habitat change, and effluent;
-
Global warming and various emission induced phenomena.
The productive capacity given by the robotics developed by the Vision2020 project allow us to address each of these issues:
-
Loss of indigenous species - produce millions of robots designed to identify and remove the unwanted invaders.
-
Loss of ecosystems - restore ecosystems by moving much of our food and materials production into
purpose designed habitats in space.
-
Loss of marine diversity through over fishing - stop fishing our oceans for food,
and get our marine food from artificial oceans we create in very large rotating tubes space,
and assist the Earth's oceans to return to their pre human dynamics.
-
Global warming and various emission induced phenomena - use electricity derived from solar power (collected in space)
to not only cease all emissions, but to clean up the worst of our prior emissions.
Anything is possible, with the right tools and the will.
